One place that I’ve visited and would love to go back to is Sylhet, located in the northeastern part of Bangladesh. I first visited this breathtaking city about two years ago during a family vacation. We went in the winter season, which made the experience even more enjoyable because the weather was pleasantly cool and refreshing. While in Sylhet, we explored many of its natural wonders, including the stunning tea gardens, where the lush greenery stretched as far as the eye could see. We also visited Ratargul Swamp Forest, which was an unforgettable experience. Gliding through the calm waters in a small boat, surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of nature, was incredibly peaceful and calming. Additionally, we went to the Jaflong region, where the river and surrounding mountains created the perfect backdrop for photography. What I loved most about Sylhet was its serene atmosphere and the natural beauty that felt untouched by urban life. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city living. The hospitality of the local people also left a lasting impression on me—they were welcoming and eager to share their culture with visitors.I would love to return to Sylhet because I feel there’s still so much more to explore, especially in terms of the cultural landmarks that I didn’t get the chance to visit. Moreover, it’s a place that makes me feel reconnected with nature, and every time I think of it, I feel a sense of tranquility. In the future, I’d like to visit again with friends, to share the experience and make new memories.
